I didn't think I really got anything from this shoot, it's really hard to get four Dobermans to cooperate, but the more I look at this image the more it grows on me. It was an off moment that worked.

This women is a volunteer for a Doberman rescue organization "Hand Me Down Dobes". And despite the bark they turned out to be really sweet dogs.

First Snow!!!

Osa wasn't really sure what to think of it all, she kept looking up at the sky and then darting under a bush. She was torn between chasing the snow flakes and hiding from them.

Irreverent Cells - Midge O'Brien's Journey

Midge O'Brien was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998 and refused traditional treatment, including chemotherapy. Now 72, her alternative struggle has become a model for other to learn from.

I first posted this story in May 2008 on my website but I am reposting it here because Midge has asked that I do a follow-up and would like more people to see and hopefully be inspired by her journey.

She is an inspiration for me.

Finally Fall

yes it has been fall for a while but I haven't had a chance to make fall pictures so today I got the chance at a HS Cross Country meet.

I used to like rain when I was a kid, but that was in California when it was hardly ever around.





Not my greatest shot, just an interesting position. That guy must do yoga.

So the fire wasn't all that exciting so I just shot graphically. I will be surprised if the run the pretty pictures, my guess is that only the first one will get in... but that's why I have a BLOG!
